Far Seer Item Build DotA

The post is Far Seer Item Build for RTS Game "DotA"
Buying the right items is crucial for every hero and Thrall is no exception. In order to afford buying them you have to practice your last hitting and lane control. If you're going with an ally in lane you will obviously need more HP, mana and a few healing items. If you don't want to share experience and gold and decide to go on your own, Thrall should be the one buying a crow and/or wards for his team.

(cost: 584)

Usual starting item build bought when you're struggling with a lot of enemy casters. Should be upgraded to Magic Wand later but only after you buy certain boots.

Magic Stick for additional HP/mana restoring. Upgraded to Magic Wand later on.
Ironwood Branches for good game. Also to enable buying Magic Wand recipe.
Ancient Tango as a primary healing tool. You can always buy more in juking purposes.
Teleport is a really useful little item, especially for intelligence heroes who need to switch lanes quickly.

(cost: 515)

Another useful starting item build which enables you to buy Urn of Shadows after you buy 2X Gauntlets of Ogre Strength and recipe. These starting items are definitely my favorite ones.

Sobi Mask will provide you with needed mana regeneration in order to stay effective in lane with your skills.
Healing Salve is bought for fast healing if you got injured badly.
Ancient Tango as a primary healing tool once again. Like I said before, you're free to buy more if you really need them.

(cost: 603)

Headdress of Rejuvenation is actually a pretty good item to begin with. Besides +2 all attributes it also provides you with passive Regeneration Aura that increases +3 HP regeneration to you and your ally. If you start with this item, buy Mekansm later.

Buying the right boots is another important thing. Without higher move speed and some extra abilities they provide you just can't function well. These boots above are the only two viable on Thrall. Phase Boots may provide you with some bonus damage and bonus move speed for short period but you don't really need that because you're a caster. Boots of Travel are way too expensive and that gold should be spent on some other, more useful items.

Power Treads should be bought if you want to play more offensively because they provide you with extra attack speed and +10 selected attribute. If you buy these, pick only +10 strength or +10 intelligence because +10 agility is pretty much useless on Thrall. You may have certain mana issues with Power Treads.
Arcane Boots are usually bought by players who want to support a lot because you can restore 135 mana to allies in 600 AoE. However, Arcane Boots will make you a little more fragile.

Offensive item build:

(cost: 5269)

Power Treads for higher attack speed and bonus increase to selected attribute (choose only strength or intelligence).
Magic Wand for more attributes and as a primary healing tool.
Eul's Scepter will ensure you have enough mana regeneration to cast your spells. Cyclone is an excellent ability which you can use to chase down an enemy hero or even to save yourself.
Bracer is bought for more survivability. Can be replaced with Null Talisman but definitely not Wraith Band.

Defensive item build:

(cost: 5181)

Arcane Boots for higher move speed and mana restore. Try using them as much as you can in teamfights to ensure your allies have enough mana to do their job.
Urn of Shadows will increase you mana regeneration and strength. Use it for healing and if you really must, for damaging a target.
Mekansm is your main support item in this build. Not only it gives you attributes and armor but also two abilities, passive Mekansm Aura (+4HP Regen in 500 AoE) and active Restore (heals 250HP and gives +2 armor in 750 Aoe). Fantastic defensive/support item, especially in teamfights.
Ring of Basilius increases your damage a little bit and provides you and your team with Mana and Armor Aura. Yet another useful item.

(cost: 2200)

You can't go wrong with extra intelligence, damage and attack speed. Force ability will give you a magnificent escape/chase mechanism. You can push enemies towards your allies and with a lot of practice you can even return them to Kinetic Field.

(cost: 2700)

Necronomicon will increase your mana pool and provide you with some bonus survivability. Demonic Summoning can be very dangerous, especially if you have caught your foes in Kinetic Field. Your summoned warrior and archer should have enough time to strike your traped targets.

(cost: 2200)

Blade Mail can be really effective on Thrall and I tested this item a few times. It does work; damage, armor and intelligence are exactly what you need plus Damage Return can be really annoying, especially against strong melee fighters. If you want to annoy, buy Blade Mail then.

(cost: 1500)

Bonus attributes are great and Ghost Form can save you a lot of times. This item should be bought if you're having a hard time with a lot of powerful melees and avoid buying Ghost Scepter if there are a lot of casters in the enemy team because you take 40% extra damage from spells while in Ghost Form.

(cost: 2150)

I can't think of a hero who couldn't fit Kelen's Dagger in his item build. Versatile and useful item for many different situations, can be used to escape but also to nail a surprising attack. If you were so dominant and can afford to buy Dagger, go for it.

(cost: 5675)

Hex is still the best item-bought disable in the game, adding a lot of intelligence and mana regen. Disabling a target with Hex will ensure a guaranteed kill if your powerful skills are ready to use. Guinsoo is the item to go for in most games.

(cost: 5025)

It is a little cheaper than Guinsoo and it does increase your mana regen, damage and attack speed even more but you already have a silence skill - your ultimate, Static Storm. On the other hand, if you're fighting with a lot of nasty casters it would be wiser to buy Orchid. It's all up to you and your choice but I will always recommend Guinsoo.

(cost: 5300)

Many people are sceptical about this item and if you're one of them, check out the replay with KuroKy. A properly-placed Static Storm can be really deadly and with Refresher Orb, it can be deadly two times. It will also provide you with a good HP/mana regeneration and damage. If you want to surprise your enemies with an arsenal of hurtful skills this is the item to go for.

(cost: 5175)

Linken's Sphere is bought to prevent strong single-target spells such as Hex, Doom, Finger of Death etc. With a well-balanced gain of attributes (+15 to str, int and agi) and decent HP/mana regen, Linken's Sphere is usually bought by supportive players when they're having a tough time with dangerous casters.

(cost: 4800)

If you bought Ghost Scepter earlier then Ethereal Blade should be a viable option to consider. A big increase in agility (+40!) will allow you to attack much faster and Ether Blast can be used to shut your enemies down and land your combos. This item can also save your ass in certain situations.

(cost: 3900)

Having a hard time with pesky casters? You always get finished by some nasty spell when you try returning to base? Buy Black King Bar for more survivability and Avatar ability to become magic immune for a short period.

(cost: 2225)

Need more survivability and HP? Buy Vanguard and your problem will be solved as it increases your HP, HP regen and gives you a passive Damage Block ability.

(cost: 2750)

Yes, Dagon is an item only for hard gankers like Nerubian Assassin. Despite that, I experimented this item on Thrall and unfortunately, the results were negative. It's possible to get more kills with Energy Burst but that's not how Thrall should be played. My suggestion is; avoid this item and even if you want to play so offensively and decide to buy it, you should never waste your money on upgrading it.
